Traveling to another country?

Begin to immunize your family 4 to 6 weeks ahead of time. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has an excellent website. Read about:

TRAVELING BY AIRPLANE WITH CHILDREN

For information on flying with children, go to the Federal Aviation Administration website:  www.faa.gov/passengers/fly_children/

Additional information can be found at The Transportation Security Administration website:  www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/traveling-children

When you are finished, find your "Destination" and decide on what "Vaccinatons" you will need.

"Malaria" may need prophylaxis before and during your trip. Whether you receive it will depend on the area of your destination, time of year, age of the traveler and if there is a current epidemic. This decision will need a consultation with an infectious disease specialist.
